Position title: Solution Architect
Location: Anywhere west of Ohio, including Ohio
Position description:
We are actively seeking a highly talented Solution Architect to join our client’s technical services team.  The primary responsibilities of this role will be focused on field-based solution development and architecting enterprise implementations of company offerings, providing training and documenting best practices in areas relevant to DevOps, risk management, application security, and software development, helping to facilitate pre-sales for enterprise customers, and working with the research and development team to e design requirements that address the needs of customers.
Position responsibilities:
  • Work closely with enterprise customers to promote implementation strategy which will be successful, sustainable, and in line with customer goals and KPIs
  • Identify gaps in products and provide sound recommendations to resolve those gaps in our products while also deriving viable work arounds that may be implemented from the field
  • Consult on pre-sales engagements during proof-of concepts to demonstrate product capabilities and provide guidance on successful implementation/roll-out strategies
  • Troubleshoot complex implementations of solutions with support and professional services teams and customers to provide satisfactory resolution
  • Provide advanced training on company-related topics including build system integration (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity), languages and frameworks, APIs (REST), and other advanced technical topics
  • Work closely with research and development team to do design reviews and share field experience to help shape design requirements
Required/desired skills:
  • 10+ years of experience developing software in agile, CI/CD environments with fluency with Java, Javascript, and C#
  • Experience with SDLC utilities (including cloud-based) and processes including defect tracking systems, IDEs, code repositories, build systems, CI pipelines
  • Experience with static analysis and/or application security software technologies strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to varying audiences
  • Highly motivated, energetic, self-starter and team player
  • Familiarity with infrastructure technologies (networking, operating system, application servers) highly preferred
  • Ability to do regional travel required (40-50%) and some international travel as well. (5-10%)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical degree preferred
